As Singapore’s population ages, more seniors are living alone or have limited family support. Social isolation, mobility challenges and delayed assistance during emergencies can affect their health, well-being and ability to age safely at home.

The Singapore Red Cross supports vulnerable seniors through services that strengthen social connections, improve access to healthcare and provide greater peace of mind.

For Our Seniors

Through our programmes, we hope to empower our seniors and provide them with the assistance they need.

ElderAid Programme

We support active ageing in place through community support, such as befriending, wellness activities, and home visits, while reducing social isolation.

HoME+

We provide a 24/7 non-intrusive alert and response system to help seniors stay safe at home, empowering them to live independently and safely.

Medical Chaperone & Transportation

We provide transportation and chaperones for seniors and persons with disabilities to and from their healthcare service facilities.

Home visits and welfare checks will be conducted prior to understand the family’s situation before a confirmation.

I am a senior who would like to volunteer instead of being a Community Befriender or client. Can I do that?

Yes. Please sign up as a volunteer with us.

I am in need of more than one service. Can it be arranged?

Yes. Assessments will be conducted to conclude if the services are suitable for your needs.
