Blood donors play a pivotal role in saving lives and supporting the National Blood Programme. In return, we recognise their efforts at the World Blood Donor Day ceremony.

Blood donors hail from all walks of life and are on different paths of the same journey. Some have only just started donating blood, while others have done it on hundreds of occasions. Each and every one of them, however, is motivated by a keen desire to save lives.
Every year, we appreciate and celebrate their meaningful contributions at World Blood Donor Day. Champion donors who have achieved the following donation milestones and a specially engraved medal will be presented at our Champion Blood Donor Recognition Ceremony.

How do I know if I will be receiving an award this year?
All champion donors will receive a collection letter who are achieving the above donation milestones.
Is there any specific blood bank I have to go to collect my fifth or tenth medallion?
Your fifth or tenth medallion will be available at all bloodbanks. Please approach any nurses or volunteers for assistance.
What happens if I’m not able to attend World Blood Donor Day to receive my award?
Donors will receive a call from our Blood Donor Programme to confirm a collection date and location.
