Home and abroad, we serve the vulnerable through our programmes and services, strengthen communities through capacity and resilience building, and respond to crises and disasters.
Serving Our Communities
Since 1949, the Singapore Red Cross has been dedicated to relieving human suffering, protecting lives and dignity, and responding to emergencies. We serve them through our blood donor programme, home and day activity centre for the disabled, senior services, community outreach for family, children & migrants, and civil response. We build capacity and resilience in the community through our training academy, volunteering and youth development.
Beyond our shores, we mobilise and translate contributions from the donor community to relief and recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts, with the aim of helping communities affected by disasters.
Our Local Programmes
In Singapore, we serve the vulnerable communities through programmes such as the blood donor programme, senior services, community outreach, and care for persons with disabilities.
Elderly
We support the seniors through our senior services, minimising social isolation, and provide services to ensure their well-being needs are met and to safeguard them.
Families, Youth, and Children
Through our different programmes, we strive to provide these individuals and families with targeted assistance in the interim, helping them get back on their feet and stabilise their situation.
Persons with Disabilities
Through the Red Cross Home and Day Activity Centre, we serve persons with severe or multiple physical or intellectual disabilities, providing around-the-clock care and respite for caregivers.
Civil Response
We provide first aid at national and community events, first aid support in urban parks, and prepare communities for emergencies and disasters.
Migrant Workers
We offer a home away from home for our migrant siblings by providing welfare and assistance while focusing on their holistic health, especially mental health, and training to hone their skills.
International Response
We help communities recover from natural disasters and strengthen resilience during peacetime and build thought leadership and build capacity across the regions.

What is the Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness (CoEPP)?
The Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness (CoEPP), hosted by the Singapore Red Cross and regionally owned by Southeast Asian Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, strengthens pandemic preparedness through capacity building, research, knowledge exchange and regional collaboration. It works with National Societies, governments, academia and humanitarian partners to enhance preparedness efforts.
