Join Singapore Red Cross through our membership programme, open to volunteers and members of the public who wish to support our causes
and become part of the organisation.
Types of Membership
We offer 3 types of membership.
Ordinary Membership, Youth Membership, General Membership.
Three Types of Membership
- Ordinary Membership is open to persons 18 years old and above, and is based on 2 categories of subscription:
- Subscribing Member is renewable every 5 years for a $100 fee.
- Life Member gives you lifetime membership for a one-time fee of $350.
- Youth Membership is available for anyone aged 9-35 years old upon registering as a volunteer with the Singapore Red Cross.
- General Membership is for any member of the public aged 9 and above and wishes to help the Singapore Red Cross.

To sign up as a Member, register here.
Payment Instructions
At the final stage of registration, you will be asked to choose your preferred payment method:
- Credit Card or PayNow:
- Log in to your banking app and select the ‘Scan to pay’ option.
- Scan the QR code provided.
- Confirm the account details and enter the appropriate membership fee.
- Input your UEN/Bill Reference Number (Last 4 digits of NRIC) and complete the payment.
- Email the payment confirmation to [email protected]
- Cheque:
- Make your cheque payable to Singapore Red Cross Society.
- On the back of the cheque, include your name (as per NRIC), contact number, and membership type.
- Mail the cheque to:

Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a Welcome email confirming your membership and providing further details regarding your Welcome Package.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I renew/upgrade my membership status?
To apply or renew your membership, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Volunteer Portal (vp.redcross.sg)
- Navigate to ‘My Profile’ and select ‘Membership Details’.
- Click on ‘Renew/Upgrade’ (a pop-up window will appear).
- Choose your membership type:
- Subscribing Member: $100 for 5 years
- Life Member: One-time payment of $350
- Select your payment method: either PayNow (Please input your last 4 digits NRIC as reference number) or Credit Card.
- Take a screenshot of the transaction details for your reference.
- If paying by PayNow, please email the transaction details to [email protected]
Once your payment is complete, you will receive a Welcome email confirming your membership application or renewal, as well as details about your Welcome Package.
How do I view my membership status/digital card?
Here’s how you can view your Membership Status/Digital Card:
- Log-in to Volunteer Portal
- Go to ‘My Profile’ > ‘Membership Details’
- View Membership Card
- You can screenshot and save the digital card for your reference
What will I get once my Membership application is approved?
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a Welcome email confirming your membership and providing further details regarding your Welcome Package.
The Membership Package include:
- Membership Welcome Letter
- Wallet Sized First Aid Kit
- SRC Volunteer Shirt
- Members Pin
- Membership E-Card
Your welcome package will be prepared and posted in batches every two months via Singpost Smartpac. We will notify you via email as soon as your package is on its way – so keep an eye on your inbox! Please reach out to [email protected] or [email protected].
