Our Community Befrienders bridge the gap between isolated seniors and the community, providing them support and companionship they need to take the first step forward back into society.
Safeguarding Ageing-in-Place
Our Community Befrienders conduct regular visits, outings, and hands-on activities and deliver customised care packages to address practical needs, emotional connection, and quality of life.
Our Seniors
Many seniors are currently living with little to no social support, exacerbating their isolation and loneliness, which may put them at risk for factors linked to poor physical and mental health.
ElderAid is catered to seniors above 60 and/or living alone, providing quality care and support for them. We believe that every senior deserves a thriving and fulfilling life, regardless of their living situations.
We focus on breaking the cycle of isolation by delivering tailored and holistic care that addresses the functional and social needs of the elderly. Our goal is to increase social mobility, facilitate integration into the broader community, and encourage meaningful contributions to society. Seniors who living alone and are interested in joining the ElderAid programme can write in to us. Our team will reach out to you and conduct a home visit to learn more about you and your current situation.

Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+)
We provide a 24/7 non-intrusive alert and response system to help seniors stay safe at home, empowering them to live independently and safely.

Other than outings and home visits, there are also regular care package distributions.
Do I need any prior experience?
Our Community Befrienders are trained in Befriending, Standard First Aid and Psychological First Aid. You do not need any other prior experience other than an open heart and listening ear.
