The Singapore Red Cross International Affairs team strengthens humanitarian action through humanitarian diplomacy, strategic partnerships and regional cooperation.
Working with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, government, academia and the private sector, we facilitate knowledge exchange, strengthen capacity and foster collaboration to address humanitarian needs.
Our Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparedness (CoEPP) complements this work through research, innovation and knowledge exchange, providing a platform for the Movement to strengthen community preparedness and regional collaboration.
Together, we strengthen Singapore Red Cross’ role in humanitarian action across Singapore, the region and beyond as humanitarian needs become increasingly complex and interconnected.

International Humanitarian Outlook & Impact 2025-2026
Humanitarian action extends beyond responding to crises. It requires understanding evolving risks, strengthening partnerships and investing in preparedness.
The International Humanitarian Impact & Outlook 2025–2026 brings together Singapore Red Cross' international humanitarian work over the past year, from humanitarian assistance and capacity building to humanitarian diplomacy and regional collaboration. It also examines how climate change, disease outbreaks and conflict are shaping humanitarian needs and what this means for the future of humanitarian action.

Singapore Humanitarian Conference
Since its inception in 2015, the annual Humanitarian Conference has served as a key platform for humanitarian actors to exchange ideas, inspire critical thinking, and drive solution-oriented discussions to humanitarian challenges at both the local and international levels.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, the annual Singapore Humanitarian Conference fosters meaningful collaboration across diverse sectors of society, strengthening the collective efforts to address today’s humanitarian challenges, while building resilience for those of the future.
PREP 2026: Bangkok
Pandemic Readiness Enhancement Programme (PREP) 2026: Practitioner Track
Held with the Thai Red Cross Society from 11–15 May 2026 in Bangkok, PREP 2026 brought together practitioners from Southeast Asian National Societies to strengthen pandemic preparedness. Building on the 2025 Friends of CoEPP Dialogue, the five-day programme covered risk communication, continuity planning, funding, AI and digital innovation, One Health, climate-sensitive disease risks, volunteer development and global preparedness tools. Through technical sessions, peer learning and simulations, participants strengthened their ability to translate preparedness frameworks into practical, context-specific action.
Gaza Humanitarian Crisis
Since the onset of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the Singapore Red Cross has supported affected communities through humanitarian assistance, working with Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement partners, including the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. In Singapore, the “Two Years On, We Are Still Here” photo exhibition highlighted the humanitarian situation and ongoing needs of affected communities while encouraging continued public awareness and solidarity. In May 2026, SRC also hosted Palestine Red Crescent Society President Dr Younis Al-Khatib for a dialogue on the humanitarian situation and the importance of International Humanitarian Law.
Centre of Excellence for Pandemic Preparednes
Initiated in September 2019 by the Singapore Red Cross Society.
CoEPP is a network helmed by SRC with the idea that disasters are not only earthquakes, tsunamis, and the like but also the outbreak of infectious diseases.
It aims to build capacity in communities in the Southeast Asia region and raise awareness and provide a platform to support individuals to protect themselves and the vulnerable in their communities. We drive regional ownership to instill a regional voice in enhancing our capacity-building efforts for the region.

Pandemic Readiness Enhancement Programme (PREP) 2026
In collaboration with Thai Red Cross Society, the five-day Practitioner Track in Bangkok strengthened pandemic preparedness among Southeast Asian Red Cross and Red Crescent practitioners through technical sessions, simulations and peer learning.
Heat, Haze and Health Workshop
CoEPP equipped SRC staff and volunteers on heat and haze risks and risk communication, developed brochures in six languages, and worked with SRC teams to extend practical guidance to youth, migrant workers and other communities.
United Against Dengue - Insights, Strategies, and Community Action
United Against Dengue brought together the Asia Dengue Voice & Action Group and Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies to share regional insights, best practices and practical approaches to dengue preparedness and community action.
Community Health Workshops for Migrant and Domestic Workers
Community Health Workshops for Migrant and Domestic Workers, with SRC’s Community Health Outreach and Wellness (CHoW), strengthened health awareness and outbreak preparedness through tailored sessions, multilingual resources and preparedness kits.
Current International Response
Support the Communities Affected by the Earthquake in Venezuela
Following the Venezuela earthquakes, SRC committed S$150,000 in two tranches to support the Venezuelan Red Cross and Movement response. Donations support humanitarian assistance, including emergency medical care and other priority needs.

The Infectious Diseases Forum will bring together Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, public health experts and regional partners to explore emerging infectious disease trends across Southeast Asia. The forum will provide a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion and peer learning on the evolving disease landscape and what this means for strengthening preparedness and action across the region.

Our appeal webpage will have the latest information on available donation methods on each appeal. You can make a donation through the Singapore Red Cross website, Giving.sg, DeeDa, PayNow or other official donation channels announced for each appeal.
How does the Singapore Red Cross deliver humanitarian assistance overseas?
Singapore Red Cross works through trusted humanitarian partners, including Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement partners, to support relief and recovery efforts based on assessed humanitarian needs. Assistance is delivered in accordance with humanitarian principles and established governance and accountability mechanisms.
Can I donate food, clothes or other items?
Singapore Red Cross generally does not accept ad hoc in-kind donations for international disaster responses.
Monetary donations enable humanitarian partners to procure the most urgently needed items locally or regionally, allowing assistance to reach affected communities more quickly and efficiently.
