First Aid Support in Urban Parks
First Aiders on Wheels is a Singapore Red Cross initiative that deploys trained volunteers to provide first aid support at selected urban parks on weekends and public holidays.
Travelling by bicycle, volunteers patrol locations such as East Coast Park, Jurong Lake Gardens, Pulau Ubin and Punggol Waterway Park. Their mobility allows them to reach park visitors quickly, provide immediate assistance and support them until further medical help is available.
Beyond responding to medical emergencies, volunteers also promote first aid awareness and help create a safer environment for park visitors. Through regular deployments and partnerships, First Aiders on Wheels helps ensure first aid support is more readily available in public recreational spaces.

Who We Help
First Aiders on Wheels supports members of the public who visit parks and recreational spaces that we are present in.
We patrol these locations during weekends and public holidays, providing immediate first aid to individuals who are injured or unwell.
The programme also supports event organisers and community partners by enhancing safety at selected activities held within these spaces. By providing timely assistance before emergency services arrive, First Aiders on Wheels helps create a safer environment for park visitors while strengthening community preparedness and resilience.

Highlights
Calmness is important. When casualties approach us, they will be panicking, as they are in pain. It helps if the volunteer stays calm, as that helps the casualty to relax. We are not only providing first aid physically but also psychologically.
