RCHD is home to residents with multiple or severe disabilities, supported by a dedicated team of professionals.
A Safe Home for Persons with Disabilities
RCHD is an adult disability home serving persons with low to moderate/severe disabilities — intellectual and/or physical disabilities. With the capacity to care for up to 130 residents, RCHD provides full-time quality care to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in a safe environment.
Qualified Professionals
RCHD's dedicated multidisciplinary team of Allied Health and Nursing professionals comprises a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a speech therapist, nurses, nursing aides, therapy aides, healthcare aides, and social workers.

Providing a Home for Persons with Disabilities
Admission Criteria
To be considered eligible for admission to RCHD, the individual should be:
- Singapore Citizen / Permanent Resident
- Between 18 – 55 years old
- Diagnosed with congenital, mental and/or physical disabilities
- Free from infectious diseases
- Must not require intensive higher nursing care which includes: complex wound or bedsores, indwelling catheter (IDC), Nasogastric Feeding Tube (NGT), suctioning (of phlegm), diabetes, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), pacemaker, heart problems, etc.
- Must not be suffering from psychotic disorders and/or serious behavioural problems that require applicants to be under continuous supervision.
Fees are charged according to the Ministry of Social and Family Development household means testing and Client Assessment Form-Revised (CAF-R) tier. Financial assistance for families struggling economically may be considered on a case-to-case basis.

Yes. We encourage family and friends to visit regularly to keep in touch with our residents, and to maintain their social connections and family bonds.
