This classroom-based training course equips Trainee-Instructors with the competencies to teach CPR(HO)+AED Provider Courses.
Upon completion, Trainee-Instructors will be able to instruct competently as a CPR(HO)+AED Instructor, in compliance with industry standards, focusing on subject matter topics shared by the Chief Instructor-Trainers.

Course Highlights
Be a role model exemplary of an SRFAC-accredited instructor; conduct CPR(HO)+AED Provider Courses in accordance with SRFAC guidelines; ensure consistency in practical performance and assessment.
Prerequisite Requirements
- Valid (not expired) CPR(HO)+AED or BCLS+AED Provider Certification (SRFAC-accredited).
- Prior reading completed of the SRFAC CPR(HO)+AED Provider Manual.
- Recommended: at least Secondary Two education or ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5. (optional)
- Medically fit with no pre-existing conditions (e.g. knee, spinal or joint injuries); consult a doctor if unsure.
- Pregnant learners are discouraged from CPR practice; consult a doctor and provide a memo if unsure.

Written:
20 MCQ theory test, 80% to pass, up to 3 attempts.
75% course attendance required to be eligible for assessments.
Practical:
Mock teaching during the course, plus a post-course Practicum: 2 Trainee-Instructor assessments (T1 minimally FAIR, T2 minimally GOOD) within 6 months.
