This classroom-based training course will equip learners with the competencies to provide skills outlined by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) in the CPR(HO)+AED Provider Course.
Overview
Course Highlights
By the end of the course, learners will have the knowledge and practical skills to perform CPR(HO)+AED during emergencies or accidents involving adult casualties.
Learners will be able to:
- Explain the duties and responsibilities of a CPR+AED Provider.
- Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively on an unconscious adult casualty.
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) effectively on an unconscious adult casualty.
- Manage a medical emergency in the community.
Prerequisite Requirements
- Prior reading completed of the SRFAC CPR+AED Provider Manual.
- We highly recommend individuals to have attained at least secondary two education or level 5 of ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy
- Must be physically fit and able to render help to another individual during an emergency.

- Medically fit with no pre-existing conditions (e.g. knee, spinal or joint injuries); consult a doctor if unsure.
- Pregnant learners are discouraged from CPR practice; consult a doctor and provide a memo if unsure.

Certificate Type
This course is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC).
A credit card-sized certificate with 2 years validity will be issued upon successful completion by attaining Competent.

10 MCQ: 80% to pass, up to 3 attempts.
Retest for failures up to 3 times (max)
Practical:
Practical Testing with separate retesting scenarios.
