Red Cross Memories: Firdaus Bin Mohd Abdullah

I was diagnosed with Leukaemia when I was 11. Cancer really made me very weak.

I was a blood recipient right before my bone marrow transplant. I feel so grateful that I received blood to help me out of my condition. It is one of the reasons why I give back to society.

I’ve been hosting events for Red Cross as my way of giving back to the community. This is something I can do to give back to society. Giving blood is a very simple act. If every healthy person can do their part, it would be enough to save those in jeopardy.
